In October 2013 it was announced that Erwin Olaf's designs had been selected for the new national side of the Dutch Euro coin, in honour of the Netherlands' first king since 1890, Willem-Alexander, who was sworn in in April 2013. Olaf's designs were released on 23rd January 2014.
