Hamiltons once again exhibited at Paris Photo, held within the Grand Palais. Many of the works on exhibition were from new series by our gallery artists, this included:

A selection of Roger Ballen's new series Asylum, these black and white images confront the viewer to think beyond the apparent. There is little human presence in these works, compared to his previous series Boarding House and Shadow Chamber, but there is a recurring presence of a white bird, perhaps providing a trace of relief.

Cathleen Naundorf's beautiful new Haute Couture Colour works, including The Last Sitting II, Dior - HC Winter 2011, No.36, which was taken at the Grand Palais on 14th September 2011.

Following the first exposition of Guido Mocafico's Blaschka series at PAD London in October 2013, where the first four works were shown, Paris Photo saw the exclusive release of the next set of works. This new series succeeds Mocafico's Medusa and Serpens series, and sees the photographer pay homage to the Blaschka glass models. The intricate models of jellyfish, sea anemones and corals amongst other creatures, were the lifetime work of father and son Leopold (1822-1895) and Rudolf (1857-1939) Blaschka.

Hamiltons also presented a selection of Irving Penn's Cranium Architecture, a series of beautiful, absorbing studies of animal skulls from the collection of the Narodni National Museum in Prague, taken and printed in 1986.
