Each year, the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme gives Carte Blanche to some of the most prominent international art galleries in order to create unique site-specific art installations within the hotel premises.
This fall, the Park Hyatt Vendome Paris is pleased to present « Vive la Mode » - an exclusive exhibition of fashion-themed photographs from the Nicola Erni Collection and curated by Tim Jefferies of Hamiltons Gallery, London.
The unique installation presents photographic works by the greatest Modern and Contemporary Masters including Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Nick Knight, Paolo Roversi, Mario Testino, Melvin Sokolsky, Frank Horvat, Peter Knapp, Emma Summerton, Harley Weir and Erik Madigan Heck.
The fashion themed photography exhibition will be displayed in the hotel lobby, at La Cheminée as well as in the Couture Bar. It will provide the viewers with a window into fashion photography of the last four decades. The exhibition will also bring back the former palace building’s historical relationship to fashion as the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme was once the former headquarters of Maison Paquin, one of the French Couture gems in the beginning of the XXth century.
