Dom Pérignon and Hamiltons Gallery present The Dom Pérignon Collection – David Bailey ‘Platinum’, an exclusive selection of platinum prints by most renowned photographer David Bailey.
The platinum printing process is the finest and most permanent way to reproduce black and white photographs. Making a selection of his key 60’s portraits, David Bailey has produced a group of fifteen platinum prints. The exhibition captures Bailey’s creative style of the decade and includes some of the most enduring names from this explosive era. Mick Jagger, Michael Caine, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Jean Shrimpton all feature, as well as two previously unpublished pictures of Rudolf Nureyev and Cecil Beaton.
This is the third annual Dom Pérignon Collection held in association with Hamiltons Gallery. The exhibition is part of an ongoing collaboration between Dom Pérignon and artistic photography and will run from Wednesday 20th November until Saturday 18th January at Hamiltons Gallery in Mayfair,
London . Limited editions of each platinum print will be available for purchase.
David Bailey comments about the exhibition: “The 50’s were flat, the 60’s were bubbly!”
